I'm enjoying the flow of the story, very smooth and well written. And the interactions between the characters is top-notch, I just love it when everyone plays nice.
I will admit to being a little confused about the timeline in this story. Some lines make me think it takes place in the past (around the 1800's) while others lean more towards the present. So I'm just wondering which one is correct?

Aww...I knew Gunn wouldn't be able to stay away from his sister! Glad he's gonna get her away from Trick. & I loved Ethan telling Giles that he owed him one--Cecily's punishment is quite fitting, I like it a lot. :P & of course, I loved the Spuffy, especially them working together to burn down the whorehouses. Stupid Mayor, Queen Slayer rules all! Oh & I hope we hear a li'l more about what exactly a Queen Slayer is (& what powers & responsibilities come w/ it). & I liked that Joyce & Rich hit it off right away...that was cute. :D Great chappie!!
