Rereading your different scenes without a story ... HP scenes without a story ... first chapters ... etc ... it always makes my muse want to write so many different stories and ideas. LOL. I just know that I couldn't do them justice to release anything I've partially written on these over the years until I get my current WIP's done.

Man ... the kitties ... Excellent response jamies_lady ... now ... #15 and 16 would make a good prologue with a little expansion ... and then do some flashbacks to different parts of the years (Starting with Hermione and Draco then moving on to Harry and Ron). THe only thing to determine ... Are the SLytherins helping behind the scenes against Voldemort, or has Voldemort managed to convert them to his side. The story has possibilities either way ... It's just a matter of what way you'd like to see it go.

This was fricking awesome!! It was great ... Awesome follow up to your Chapter 10 post of Scenes without a story. You know you could flesh out 10 a little, post it as a one shot on GE ... then post this as a one shot sequel. I'll bet people would love it. I know I've really wanted to do an idea like this in more detail ever since I saw Ch. 10! Its ingenious really. You have all the good ideas. LOL
Maybe we can create an ID on GE called MaryRose or TashaPerk that we both have access to and write from it. ROFL

You had me wondering what side he was on then wham the end tells us. I sooooo hope the kitty nips at your heels for this one. I have so many ideas that could go around it, but my kitty just doesn't behave enough to be nice the entire time to get it done.

How about this after Draco's ...
Hermione cradled Draco's jaw in her hand. "Be careful, Draco," she dropped the pretense and protection that calling him Malfoy always gave her. She knew people were going to die on both sides. Heck people had been dropping like flies all of the last year. Each loss tore a piece of her heart out, but she wasn't sure just how much of a heart she'd have left if Draco fell. She wanted to tell him just what she felt, but she was afraid to say the words in case it sealed fate's promise in these dark times. So she simply said, "Come back to me."
Draco blinked, and his mouth fell partially open. Sure, he'd teased Hermione with flirting taunts, but he never expected to see such emotions reflected in her eyes. He never thought he'd see anyone look at him that way, the son of a Death Eater and supposed murderer of Albus Dumbledore. At least that was what the world thought of him. Only select members of the Order of the Phoenix, and Albus Dumbledore himself, knew any different. "Always." He leaned down and brushed his lips against hers once more. If her lips were the last he tasted, he would still die a happy man ... taking that memory with him beyond the veil.
As Draco disappeared back into the shadows to return to his "master", Hermione caressed her lips with her fingertips. Both of them hoped that they'd meet again, safe and sound, when the bloodshed had ended and Riddle was dead.
