just a bit of a lurker. i love your writing, btw.
i like all of the beginnings, except Lost in a Book. i'd read all of them, but having Angel keep the book is creepy to me. the ones are most interesting to me are Power, Little Sister Found, One Man's Hell, and The Should Have Been Slayer. they look like they will develop into very unique stories.

Ooh...quite interesting. One question, if Buffy didn't get stronger when Merrick met her, how is she the Slayer now? Or is she just a potential? I wonder how Cassie got the power of the Slayers--spell, perhaps? Or something more diabolical? Can't wait to find out. Really lovin' Spike & Buffy meeting now, so no preconceived notions about each other. & I like that Spike told Buffy about his soul, but not Giles. & yay for Tara! I always love seeing her. :D

I swear you come up with some of the most wickedly twisted stuff I've read and I LOVE it! I love Tara though and that last one was so sad =( But Buffy's new tude to me is how she shoulda behaved in the series at least a little bit anyway. Like she did right after she got ressurected, you know going to and trusting Spike and actually treating him like a friend cause he was the ONLY one to actually give a damn about how SHE felt and what SHE needed.
Unlike the others who were all *Oh lookit how awesome I am for 'saving' Buffy and now she can just bounce back right away and be 'normal'* Never mind that she was in 'Hell' almost twice as long as Angel and he was there hundreds of years and came back a feral animal. And Dawn grrr nm /rant off heh you know the drill I'm sure or you wouldn't be an avid Spuffy writer *grins*
When it was on originally I actually never saw all of S6 or any of S7 cause I hated Pod!Buffy and quit watching it even though my mom and daughter stayed avid fans. After my family bought the series on DVD I finally watched it all, but honestly I like fanfic versions better than the real thing when Buffy actually acts human and not like the soul-less demon she calls Spike, who shows way more humanity than she does heh.
She coulda given old Angelus a run for his money in most of S6 heh. It irked me bad too cause I ADORED Buffy and I hated what the writers of the show did to her and Spike(way to promote 'spousal' abuse and cruelty to someone just trying to help when he's doing the best he can to be good with limited tools and no help from the 'good' guys, great message there)
I've been reading your fics for a looong time(2006 I think) but for some reason until recently I felt too chicken to review, anxiety from rl bleeding over I guess heh =)
I sincerely hope once you finish a few WIPs that you go forward with these. All of them left me wanting more so again great job =)

Brutal... Well done, but brutal - and not unexpected, in a way. It's something that almost never gets done, in fan fic - Just how helpless Spike might be, if he had to defend someone against humans. You just know he would've given ~ Angelus~ nightmares with the torture he'd have inflicted upon Tara's family for trying this, (and yes, I am officially BEGGING to see him do just that! Have those Earth goddesses remove his chip & turn him loose on those miserable gits!!) {offers the plot kitty metric tons of catnip from Kabul!}

Good chapter. A Buffy that knows about all the prat falls that would have come is an interesting one. And The Councils Plans... now that is ominous. Please explain what these are? Did Giles leave for his own reasons or was it someones elses? And what about the Cruciateum (sp?)

Such a sad & horrible start...but what an interesting ending. I liked that both Buffy & Dawn had decided to treat Spike better after he proved Tara was human, before they found Spara in the alley. Possible threesome situation between Buffy, Spike, & Tara? I could really go for that. Even if that's not the case, I still wanna read more. Any idea when some of these ideas may see the light of day? :D

Another one *snif snif* done so beautifully heartbreaking and yet another up there that needs more to be read. I cried Mary omigod you wrote some major angst! So proud of you it was soooo real I could feel it. I would definitely make this adult only when you get to it. Only part I was confused with was this part : Tisiphone nodded in understanding. “Sisters, we must be unresting as we avenge this act of jealousy.” I was thinking more along the lines of torturous act. Was this possibly referring to the cousin being jealous of Tara and ultimately directing this rape towards both Tara and Spike? Then that would make sense but would make her completely sick and demented. Oh god such and emotional piece. Another up on the ever growing list of what I'd like to see Mary continue writing ;) Very well done Mary.
