More I say..! This instant, in fact!! (~hands out copious amounts of uncut catnip from Kabul, to the plot kitty~) Another "Buffy..." Given Willow's incompetent magic, that sounds about right! (hmm... trouble with Willow & the rest of the slayerettes..? plot thickens!) This has all the marks of a great crossover - immortal Buffy, Spike, Illyria & Wes..? A rival "four horsemen" for all intents..!

Brutal... Well done, but brutal - and not unexpected, in a way. It's something that almost never gets done, in fan fic - Just how helpless Spike might be, if he had to defend someone against humans. You just know he would've given ~ Angelus~ nightmares with the torture he'd have inflicted upon Tara's family for trying this, (and yes, I am officially BEGGING to see him do just that!
